About the workshop
Discover, through a fun and collaborative workshop, what biodiversity means and why it's important for all life on Earth. You will explore how all living things are connected and learn why this web of life is essential for our planet's health.
Using science-based activity cards, based on IPBES reports you'll uncover the fundamental interactions within nature and understand what causes biodiversity to decline. Through group activity and discussion, you'll see how biodiversity affects every part of our lives, especially our health and wellbeing.
You will discover the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss and understand why protecting nature means protecting ourselves.

This workshop brings together curious children who care about the natural world and want to contribute to making their communities more environmentally aware. At a young age, understanding these connections helps you see how human societies and even healthcare systems depend on nature.
You'll learn about the challenge of balancing what people need from nature with protecting the environment for all living things and how everything in nature works together like pieces of a puzzle. When some pieces go missing, it can affect the whole picture.
