Little Girl Blue is a docudrama about French writer and photographer Carole Achache. Through the power of filmmaking and the help of Marion Cotillard, director Mona Achache brings her mother back to life to retrace her journey and find out who she really was. 

This docudrama has been triply nominated during the Cesar ceremony. Marion Cotillard was nominated for the 2024 best actress award. The film was also nominated for the best editing and as the best documentary movie and Mona Achache received twice the award of best documentary movie with the Prix Lumières 2024 and Prix Louis-Delluc 2023.

A powerful film of a mind-blowing strength. Marion Cotillard is marvelous in her role and succeeds to explore all the levels of sensitivity. Deep, harsh, and intimate, it is impossible to feel indifferent about this splendid masterpiece.
