About the artist: Stéphane Lam
Stéphane Lam is the founder of Pavillon Rouge des Arts, a Hong Kong-based platform for intercultural creation and exchange. A composer, writer, director and producer, his practice spans theatre, dance, documentary and music. With over 17 years of experience in Asia, he has collaborated with major institutions in China, Singapore, and beyond. He designs bold cross-cultural performances that blend tradition with contemporary expression. His creations have brought together Chinese opera, commedia dell’arte, baroque music, and inclusive dance. Awarded in 2023 for his artistic impact in East Asia, he is also a frequent speaker and workshop leader. Stéphane brings to Switch a unique ability to turn encounters into poetic and sensory journeys.
