What you'll experience
Cultural introduction: A short storytelling session introduces participants to the history and charm of Loto, a game traditionally played in French households and schools, often during holidays or family gatherings.
Design Your Own Loto Set: Participants will create their own themed Loto game using nostalgic imagery from both French and Singaporean childhoods—iconic toys, treats, landmarks, and phrases. This creative fusion celebrates cross-cultural imagination.
Print & Play: Participants will design their Loto boards and matching tiles using drawing, collage, and stamping techniques. All materials will be provided.
Mini Game Session: To end the workshop, participants will play a round of Loto together using a shared board or their own creations, encouraging social interaction and fun.
Take-Home Pack: Each participant brings home their personalised Loto game set, along with a short guidecard about the cultural origins of the game.
