Step into the colorful world of Singapore’s heritage with artist D'Gers in this immersive art workshop, following our September Exhibition, Singapore Refracted. Create your own unique Peranakan-inspired shophouse: full of textures, vibrant colors, and ornate charm.
Specialist of mixed media techniques, D'Gers will steer your way through acrylic paint, recycled materials, textiles, pearls, ... and help you give life to a story on canvas. And what best than champagne, wine and appetizers to enjoy it in the Frenchiest and most indulgent way possible!
Explore how to:
Sketch key shophouse elements (proportion, tiles, windows, doors, motifs)
Layer textures using recycled materials and ornaments
Add depth, relief, and emotional meaning to your piece through color and design

Each session unveils a new technique and innovative materials for a moment of creativity and conviviality à la française, as you unleash your inner artist, all while indulging in a complimentary glass of champagne —a true celebration of art and savoir-faire.
About D'Gers
D’Gers, born in 1978, is an artist from the Franche-Comté region with a
unique artistic concept, D’Gers Mix Media.
Her sustainable artwork is crafted from recycled ECO materials, resulting in one of-a-kind creations.
With a background in "Beaux Arts" and international experience as a marketing manager and events director, she integrates art with environmental consciousnes.
Her workshops are tailored for various settings, which aims to enrich mental health through self-expression and stress coping mechanisms.
Beyond art, she is an active member of the Women Artists Association in Singapore, participating in renowned exhibitions. You can currently see her artwork exposed in the Gallery of Alliance Francaise, for our Singapore Refracted exhibition.
She is also involved in community projects, including commissioned Art mural projects for the government and the development of the first community garden in AMK, or for Singapore River, showcasing her dedication to building a vibrant artistic community in Singapore
