Rio de Janeiro in the near future. Marlow is a police officer assigned to a mission to find Captain Kurtz, a famous policeman who went missing in mysterious circumstances. Marlow must do his mission in a boat, setting out on a dangerous journey through the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro.
Heart of Darkness is a bold and powerful adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s classic novel, transposed into a futuristic Rio de Janeiro. The film has been officially selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. This contemporary reimagining captures the spirit of Conrad’s original work while offering a visually stunning and thought-provoking commentary on modern civilization.
Supported by the Embassy of Brazil in Singapore, a glass of Brazilian wine will be offered to the audience prior to the screening,
