1. CULTURAL EXECUTIVE
CONTRACT START DATE: As soon as possible
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the production of cultural and social events (e.g., French Excellence programmes, Francophonie Festival, International Music Week, private events etc.):
Reporting to the Programming and Sponsorship Manager, you will ensure the smooth implementation of Alliance Française’s cultural strategy by overseeing the production and development of comprehensive cultural programmes which aim at connecting local and French communities together and developing long-lasting, cross-cultural collaborations.
1. Exhibitions
• Run the bidding for a design agency by defining the brief based on the curation, and following up to reach the final design
• Look out for partners and suppliers to procure the curatorial elements according to schedule and budget, and secure the logistics for shipment and return
• Supervise the back and forth with the selected design agency to ensure conformity of the final page proof before production
• Replace the Gallery and Event Assistant if absent by opening and closing the gallery, and conducting the guided tours
• Oversee the set up and dismantling of the exhibition
2. Live performances
• Cast about for companies and artists able to produce shows aligned with the envisioned programme and negotiate the terms of the contract with them
• Run the submission for the obtention of the Arts Entertainment License
• Liaise between the artist(s) and the Theatre Manager to ensure the availability of required material and the compliance with the budget
• Assist the Theatre Manager during the bump in, set up, rehearsals and dismantling
3. Workshops and social events
• Prospect companies potentially interested in organizing a team building at Alliance based on ongoing programme and tailor the offer to their needs
• Find the appropriate providers / artists to ensure the proposition respects the programme and budget defined by Alliance (or the client if it is a private event)
• Follow up on the quotation and invoicing from both providers and clients
• Manage the logistics and ensure the smooth execution of the event
• Conduct post-event satisfaction check with the clients
4. Marketing
• Develop mailing databases based on cultural participants’ tastes and design tailored communication to be sent to promote specific related events
• Proactively propose and implement incentives for visitors to review Alliance Francaise’s activity
• Efficiently use gathered knowledge of the audience
REQUIREMENTS:
•
Singaporean - or long-term Singapore resident - highly familiar with the local cultural and artistic scene, as well as the specific needs and tastes of its audience
•
Strong experience managing cultural events and productions: planning and budget definition, briefing, negotiation and liaison with vendors, logistics oversight from conception to execution
•
Proven organizational and interpersonal skills set
in a multicultural and dynamic environment
•
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
•
Experience designing a space and drawing plans is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends, as required by event schedule
CONDITIONS & COMPENSATION:

Contract length: 2 years, with a 3-month probation period
•
Job type: Full-time

42 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday.
Working hours may be adjusted in accordance with the demands of scheduled events

Salary range for this role between SGD 2,800 and SGD 3,500 + end-of-year bonus based on performance

2. PART-TIME LIBRARIAN
CONTRACT START DATE: End of October 2025
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Head Librarian, the Part-time Librarian will handle daily library operations and service, manage collections, and assist with library events and marketing content.
1. Library Operations and Services

Handle daily library operations and services using a French library syste;

Manage library accounts, loans, returns and fines

Maintain cleanliness and order in the library; inspect and repair damaged books

Recommend French reading materials tailored to age, language proficiency and interest

Assist users with the online resources
2. Collection Management

Label, cover and organize library collections

Assist with acquisitions, inventory checks and decommissioning of resources
3. Library Events

Assist in planning and executing library events (e.g. storytelling, book clubs, author meet-and-greet, book sales, etc.)

Create content for ad-hoc library activities (e.g. craft sessions, treasure hunt, festive decoration)
4. Marketing & Communications

REQUIREMENTS :

Excellent command of French (native/minimum B1) and English (written and spoken)

CONTRACT START DATE: 1 October 2025
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Alliance Française de Singapour is looking for a French FLE teacher to teach young people, 2-16 years old and adults from A1 to C1.
The position requires a commitment from the professor to the Alliance's innovation and development projects and good versatility in order to be able to provide courses at the Alliance, in companies or schools, as well as in person, online.
PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION:
Alliance Française of Singapour is a local non-profit educational and cultural organization, affiliated with the international network of Alliances Françaises. With a mixed team of Singaporeans and French, and more than 4,000 members of all ages, the Alliance Française de Singapore fulfills its mission of teaching the French language and promoting French and Francophone cultures by offering various actions in its language center, gallery, theatre and library.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
– French mother tongue;
– Experience in early education;
– Openness to innovative teaching practices in person, remotely;
– Possess qualities of communication, initiative, and adaptation;
– Demonstrate dynamism, enthusiasm, involvement and cultural openness;
– DELF-DALF examiner/corrector accreditation would be a plus;
– A minimum B1 level in English.
REQUIRED DIPLOMA: Master 2 of FLE and/or DAEFLE
TYPE OF CONTRACT : Fixed-term contract
HOURLY VOLUME PER WEEK: 20 hours on average up to 30 hours– 6 sessions of 8 weeks/year
DURATION :Local full-time contract for 1 year, renewable.

• Manage daily the editorial content on social media platforms
• Strategize and plan content for events and Language Centre, prepare and manage monthly content calendar

LIBRARY & CINEMA ASSISTANT | FROM FEBRUARY 2026
Passionate about French literature and cinema? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to support our library operations and cultural events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Head Librarian and Programming & Sponsorship Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, provide recommendations on French literature, and organised assigned cultural and literary events.
1/ Library Operations
• Assist with the daily library operations, including loans and returns, using the library system
• Manage overdue loans and enforce borrowing policies where needed
• Ensure the organisation, cleanliness and maintenance of the library collection
2/ Library Services
• Recommend French reading materials tailored to age, language proficiency and interests
• Assist with acquisitions, inventory checks and decommissioning of resources
3/ Library Events
• Plan and execute literary events (including storytelling sessions, book clubs, author meet-and-greet sessions, book sales, etc.)
• Design promotional materials and update the library website to support event visibility and participation
4/ Cultural Events
• Collaborate on the ideation of programme-related events (talks, small scale live performances, etc.) to be held at the library, design the promotion materials and oversee the logistics
• Assist in welcoming guests during exhibition openings
5/ Cinema
• Assist in programming the cinema line-up
• Reach out to distributors and negotiate movie rights
• Ensure the legal and logistical schedule is respected
• Welcome attendees at screenings and replace the projectionist when needed
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong knowledge of French literature and cinema, with a keen interest in current movie trends and literary publications
• Excellent command of French (native/C2) and English (written and spoken)

In this 6-months internship, you will be working on exhibitions with a diverse set of artists, as well as running various social and cultural events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Cultural Programming Manager in ensuring smooth running of the events and exhibitions under her charge.
1/ Gallery
• Assist in the installation, opening and dismantling of exhibition
• Welcome and guide the audience during the operating hours
• Prepare audience report and manage database
• Assist in updating the gallery's webpage and social media platforms
2/ Other events

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experiences with arts organizations or events, will be an advantage
• Deep knowledge in visual art (specially photography), passionate about keeping abreast of latest market trends
